As you know, next week we will start with the oral tests where you will have to describe a photo. Let's hear some examples and do some practise to help you with the task a bit more.
1.- Watch the following video which teaches you how to describe a photo together with some useful vocabulary and expressions.
Now write a comment with the words you remember for each picture. Do not worry if you can't remember all the words, just write down those words you remember.
2.- Go the site below and listen to the sample descriptions and the key words.
3.- Fill in the gaps with the expressions studied. You can click on ? for clues.
4.- The words studied so far may be useful to describe your photo. Revise the vocabulary in units 1 & 2 by doing the activities in the site below:

Hello teacher! I'm Carmen Moliz. These are the sentences that I remember:
In the first picture the man say that Dalí has got a long thin moustache, crazy while eyes, the ligth comes from above and you can see some ripples.
Second picture: the man say that the cheetah has spots, there are three trees and just the cheetah and the rock are focus.
Picture number three: It's a landscape photograph with mountains and rocks. You can see a very nice blue sky and a dense forest.
And finally in the last one the man says that it is a concer picture where a band is playing, it's also seems like a theatre and you can see siluets.

Picture one :It´s a Salvador Dali`s picture.In the picture we can see some water and a head in the water. It´s black and white picture. And the head is staring at photograph.
Picture two : It´s colorful , we can see a cheetah , the cheetah is standing on the rock. The cheetah and the rock are in focus.
Picture three: We can see mountains. There are lights and shadows on the mountain´s peaks.
Picture four: The picture is in colour. thera are a lot of people.A band is playing in a concert.

In then first picture,Benjamin described a photograph of Dali. He used some adjetives like wavey to describe his hair.Also he use some words like above to say how is him in the water and he described the water and said that it has ripples.
In the second picture, we can see a cheetah.The cheetah is in the top of a grey and a hard rock. The cheetah has a lot of spots in her/his body and a large tail. In the background there are some trees and a blue sky, but there aren't in focus.
The third picture is a landscape picture. In the background there are a lot of peak mountains. In the foreground we can see some grass and a light tree.
The fourth picture is about a rockconcert. In the background there is a blue light. At the bottom there is a crowd with a lot of silhouettes.People are in a slopping area.Also a boy has his arm in the air.
