APLE2: HOLIDAYS AROUND THE WORLD

During this term you've been making oral presentations of holiday celebrations that take place in different countries and cultures all over the world. I think most of you have worked hard on your projects but now it's time to know how much you have learnt about them.

Click on this link to take the test. Don't forget to register with your full name and surname, please.

Also remember to upload your presentations to the wiki by March 11th.

THANKSGIVING AND BLACK FRIDAY

Thanksgiving, one of the major holidays in the US, is coming-up in a couple of days and I would like you to learn a little more about this festivity and another close controversial day.

Listen once to one of the following tracks and find other students in the class who listened to the same track. Listen to it again and share within your group all the information you understood. Discuss the details and try to answer the questions in the corresponding file.  Now tell the other half of the class about the holiday.
